Decree No. PF-5847 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated October 8, 2019 “Approving the concept of development of the higher education system of the Republic of Uzbekistan until 2030”, December 24, 2021 “On additional measures to ensure academic and organizational-management independence of state higher education institutions” According to the decision No. PQ-60 and the decision of the 13th meeting of the University Council on June 29, 2022, the “Finance and Credit” department was established under the Faculty of Economics. The responsibility of organizing the activities of the “Finance and Credit” department, the qualification requirements and model curricula of the departments assigned to the department, and the formation of model science programs, the head of the department was assigned to Rejapov Khairillo Khikmatullaevich, Doctor of Philosophy in Economics (PhD).

In the first years of its operation, the department offered a number of subjects for undergraduate students of the Faculty of Economics, including “Banking”, “Money, credit and banks”, “Finance”, “Finance and credit”, “Applied accounting”, “State budget and treasury system”. , “Financing of investment projects”, “Economic analysis”, “Finance, money credit”, “Taxation and taxation”, “Financial market and investments”, “Finance and credit” and “Macroeconomic analysis” engaged in going. In addition, the department received a joint education program with the Finance University under the Government of the Russian Federation (THE Impact Rankings 2021, 601-800, QS University Rankings by Subject 2020 — 351-400) and the National University of Uzbekistan 60310100 – “Economics (networks and by fields)” some subjects taught in undergraduate education are attached. Including “Data Analysis”, “Accounting and Auditing”, “Finance”, “Economic Analysis”, “Statistics”, “Macroeconomics”, “Teamwork and Team Building Training”, “World Economy and International Economic Relations”, “Introduction to specialization” and “History and modernity of the University of Finance” and other subjects are attached.

Starting from the 2022-2023 academic year, the department has started full-time admissions to the bachelor’s degree course 60410700-“Budget control and treasury” and 60410400-“Finance and financial technologies” and part-time admission to the bachelor’s degree course 60410700-“Budget control and treasury”.

Currently, 44 students are studying in “Budget control and treasury” undergraduate full-time education, and 19 students are studying in “Finance and financial technologies” study. It is worth saying that the curricula of this field and specialty were created based on the study of curricula and curricula of many highly ranked foreign universities.

Today, the department has submitted an application to the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan to open basic doctoral studies and doctoral studies in the specialty “Finance, money circulation and credit” on 08.00.07, and practical work on obtaining permission to open basic doctoral studies and doctoral studies from April 2023 done.

In the department, 1 main doctoral student (independent researcher) is attached to Govurov Olimjon Ghalib oglu, who is conducting scientific research work on the topic of “Improving the practice of issuing and placing Eurobonds into circulation”.

In the 2022-2023 academic year, 6 professors-teachers, including doctor of science, 1 professor, 2 doctors of philosophy (PhD), 2 associate professors, 1 senior teacher and 3 teachers are working in the department. Professors working in the department today on full-time basis: i.f.d., prof. Sh.Sh. Shoha’zami, i.f.f.d (PhD) Kh.X. Rejapov, Ph.D., Assoc.V.B. R. G. Tashbaeva, senior teacher T. B. Akimniyazov, teachers U. A. Narmanov, O. G’ Gafurov, K. O. Kholmuminov.

 

In the 2023-2024 academic year, the department has 6 professors-teachers, including doctor of science, professor – 1, doctor of science, associate professors – 2, doctors of philosophy (PhD) in economic sciences, associate professors – 1, 1 senior teacher of economics Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and 2 senior teachers, 3 teachers are working. Professors working in the department today on full-time basis: i.f.d., prof. Sh.Sh. Shoha’zami, i.f.d (DSc), Assoc. X.X. Rejapov, i.f.d (DSc), Assoc. B.B. Bakhtiyorov, PhD (PhD), Assoc. K.Y.Jabbarov, senior teachers (PhD) U.A.Narmanov, T.B.Akimniyazov, N.Makhkamova, teachers O.G’.Gafurov, A.B.Sotvoldiev, Z. R. Gaybullaeva, Sh. Qayumova and basic doctoral student K. O. Kholmo’minov are working.

Based on placement from other higher educational institutions and organizations 13 professors-teachers are involved in the educational process and research work at the faculty.

At the end of 2022, the head of the Department of Finance and Credit, Kh.Kh. Rejapov, was awarded the Honorary Certificate of the University Rector “for his activity in the educational, scientific, teaching-methodical, international relations and spiritual-educational fields of the university in 2022, and for his devotion to his duty.”

In the 2023-2024 academic year, the head of the Department of Finance and Credit, Associate Professor Kadyrov Azmat Ashrafovich, a 4th-year student of economics (by networks and sectors) under the guidance of Rejapov Khairillo Khikmatulaevich, became the winner of the Novoiy state scholarship.

In order to further strengthen international cooperation, seminars are held in the department with the participation of several foreign experts and they are also involved in the educational process. In order to increase the position of the National University of Uzbekistan in national and international rankings, the Finance and Credit Department of the Finance University under the Government of the Russian Federation (RFHMU) (THE Impact Rankings 2021,

601-800, QS University Rankings by Subject 2020 — 351—400) working professor Alexander Andreevich Tsyganov (h-index-9, i10-index-6) and i.f.n. associate professor etc. Selivanova Marina Alexandrovna (h-index-7, i10-index-5) under the joint educational program 60310100 – “Economics (by networks and sectors)” direction, professors-teachers were hired on the basis of external placement for students to acquire knowledge more firmly.

On April 25 of this year, an international scientific-practical conference was held at the Faculty of Economics of the National University of Uzbekistan on the topic “Problems and priorities of the strategic development of the financial and credit system”. More than 200 participants actively participated in the conference. Among them, 19 doctoral students and independent researchers, 8 foreign participants, 120 students and 28 masters participated.
