Today, March 27, a regular meeting of the University Council was held at the National University of Uzbekistan. The agenda included important issues related to the university’s activities, as well as educational, scientific, and other areas.

At the beginning of the meeting, the winners of the competition for the State Scholarship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the named State Scholarships for the 2024/2025 academic year, as well as their scientific supervisors, were awarded.

In the main part of the meeting, information was presented on the work carried out at the university on saving energy resources and using renewable energy in 2022/2024 and the tasks set to increase energy efficiency in 2025.

A presentation was made on the results of the winter session of the 2024/2025 academic year in bachelor’s and master’s programs at the university, as well as on the work done to ensure the quality of education.

The state of the educational process organized at the Republican Academic Lyceum named after S.Kh. Sirozhiddinov, specializing in “Natural and Exact Sciences” under the University, was analyzed.

The issue of awarding scholarships to students studying on a paid-contract basis, whose academic performance at the end of the academic semester is “excellent,” and the approval of the regulations of the university’s Registrar’s Office was also raised.

The determination of the lower limit of the level of originality of the text of final qualifying works and master’s dissertations, as well as the ratio of the levels of technical and correct assimilation, was discussed.

The last issue of the council was the issuance of a publication certificate for educational literature prepared by university professors and teachers.
