The Government Resolution “On the establishment of the Institute of Theoretical Physics at the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek” (No. 795, 17.12.2025) was adopted.
According to the resolution, the Institute of Theoretical Physics will be established at the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek.
The following were determined as the main tasks of the Institute, including:
Organizing scientific conferences on the problems of quantum field theory of theoretical physics, subatomic physics, nonlinear physics, gravitational field theory, quantum networks and dynamic systems;
Assisting higher education institutions in training young theoretical physicists with high potential by attracting talented students and graduate students to scientific activities in higher education institutions;
Prepare analytical information on the priority areas and prospects of research in the field of physics in developed countries.
The Institute is granted the following rights:
Conclude agreements with other scientific organizations, foundations, educational institutions, including international and foreign organizations, to conduct joint scientific research;
Request and receive free of charge from state bodies and organizations the necessary information, statistical, analytical and other data in the field of scientific research.
