Today, December 17, the Rector of the National University of Uzbekistan, Professor Inom Madjidov received a delegation led by Seyed Komail Tayebi, President of the Economic Cooperation Organization Science Foundation (ECO Science Foundation). The meeting discussed the development of bilateral cooperation, promising programs and initiatives in the field of science and technology.

Seyed Komail Tayebi provided extensive information on the main tasks, structure and strategic role of ECOSF in the region. He also touched upon the ongoing cooperation projects with Uzbekistan, programs in science, technology and innovation, and regional cooperation initiatives.

Inom Madjidov expressed his pleasure at receiving the guests at the university and supported the proposals in the areas of climate change and environmental sustainability. He also noted his readiness to continue cooperation on organizing an international conference on environmental issues and other important issues.
Responsible vice-rectors and project coordinators were appointed by the National University of Uzbekistan for specific issues of cooperation, and it was agreed to implement the tasks in a phased manner.
