Global recognition of the National University of Uzbekistan highlighted at the “QS Eurasia Forum – 2025”

The “QS Eurasia Forum – 2025” was held in Tashkent, bringing together more than 300 participants representing higher education and research institutions, government bodies, and international organizations from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Hungary, the European Union, and the Middle East.

Nunzio Quacquarelli, President of QS and Chair of the QS Board, attended the event in person. In his remarks, he emphasized the steady expansion of universities’ participation in QS rankings and highlighted the growing activity and competitiveness of higher education institutions across the region within the global knowledge landscape.

During the official award ceremony, the National University of Uzbekistan was recognized for securing the 721–730 position in the QS World University Rankings 2026. The special certificate and statuette were ceremonially presented to NUUz Rector Inom Madjidov by Nunzio Quacquarelli.

The National University of Uzbekistan also received a certificate confirming its achievement of the ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4-star) level in the QS Stars rating system.

In his speech, Nunzio Quacquarelli underscored that the National University of Uzbekistan is a leading national center for knowledge generation and human capital development, contributing to global problem-solving through scientific research and fostering cultural and academic dialogue between nations.
