Hilola Umarova, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration for Education Reform, and Qo’ng’irotboy Sharipov, Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation, reviewed a presentation on the annual activities of the National University of Uzbekistan.

Rector of NUUz Inom Madjidov provided detailed information about the work carried out by the university during 2025, the main results achieved, as well as the priorities and long-term plans for 2026.

During the discussion, issues of further improving the educational process in the next academic year, accelerating digital transformations, increasing the professional potential of teachers, and introducing new mechanisms aimed at improving the quality of education were considered.

Proposals were also made to increase the effectiveness of research work, expand the integration of science, education, and production, and support innovative projects.

Specific tasks were defined for bringing spiritual, educational, and upbringing work with students to a new level in 2026, expanding areas of international cooperation, strengthening joint programs with prestigious foreign higher educational institutions and research centers, creating favorable conditions for investment in the university, and further developing modern infrastructure.
