On October 24–25, 2025, the second part of the international scientific conference “Geoinformatics in Uzbekistan: Development and Prospects” (InterCarto. InterGIS: 31 and GI 2025) was held at the Mirzo Ulugbek National University of Uzbekistan in Tashkent.
The conference began earlier, from October 6 to 11, 2025, in the cities of Perm and Kudymkar (Russia). Its continuation in Tashkent was organized by the National University of Uzbekistan.

The event brought together scientists, professors, researchers, and graduate students from Uzbekistan, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, China, Germany, and other countries.
During the sessions, participants discussed the use of geoinformation technologies to support the sustainable development of socio-natural systems, new methods of geoinformation modeling and data analysis, as well as modern approaches to Earth remote sensing.

Discussions also covered the application of maps and GIS technologies in socio-demographic research and public health, environmental protection and ecological risk management, and the role of geoinformation technologies in preserving cultural and natural heritage.
Special attention was given to climate change studies, sustainable development issues, and the effective use of GIS technologies in urban ecology and planning.

The conference featured scientific presentations, experience-sharing sessions, poster exhibitions, and interactive discussions. Participants presented the results of their research and exchanged views on current challenges in the field of geoinformatics.
At the conclusion of the conference, certificates were awarded to active participants, and agreements were reached to further expand international scientific cooperation.
