QS Quacquarelli Symonds International Higher Education analytical agency today published the results of the world’s best universities ranking for 2025-QS World University Rankings 2025.
Fortunately, the National University of Uzbekistan ranked among the top-1000 universities in the ranking of the best universities in the world (QS World University Rankings 2025), recording positions 781-790.
This global ranking is based on the contribution of universities to the goals of sustainable development and the prospects for the employment of their graduates and other factors.
This result is considered the first success of Uzbekistan in the new global ranking, showing significant achievements in terms of the proportion of foreign teachers, the ratio of the number of teachers and students.
The National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek noted the second place among higher educational institutions of Central Asia according to the indicator “share of foreign teachers” (177th place).
A ranking participant in the “academic reputation” indicator, NUUz was ranked among the top four hundred universities in the world (347th). This is evidenced by the active participation of the University in educational cooperation, their effective strategic location, the use of innovative approaches in the educational process, and the fact that it continues to have its own power of influence in society.
