Professor Nigina Shermukhamedova from the Department of Philosophy at the National University of Uzbekistan visited the Kyrgyz National University named after Yusup Balasagyn, located in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
The NUUz professor conducted a master class for Kyrgyz students on the topic “The Role of Higher Education in Nurturing a Well-Rounded Individual.” This lesson, which was attended by students from the “Philosophy” program, was conducted in a dialogue format.
Additionally, N. Shermukhamedova participated in dissertation defenses at the Kyrgyz National University. Specifically, she served as an external opponent on the scientific council for the dissertation defense of Zhao Yuyhao, a doctoral student and citizen of the People’s Republic of China.
She was also appointed as the chairperson of a one-time scientific council for the defense of Chinese doctoral student Zhu Jiangsheng’s dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Philosophical Sciences.
The doctoral student, having received one hundred percent of the votes on the council, successfully defended his dissertation. N. Shermukhamedova was appointed as an external opponent for the defense of Sun Huiqin’s dissertation at a one-time scientific council on February 28.
