Within the framework of Youth Tourism Week, a group of students from the National University of Uzbekistan organized a trip under the slogan “We will contribute to the development of pilgrimage tourism of the Khavast-Zaamin sites on the Great Silk Road!.”
For the development of pilgrimage tourism, an excursion was conducted to the sights, tourist sites, and educational institutions located in the Khavast district of the Syrdarya region and the Zaamin district of the Jizzakh region, assigned to the university.
In particular, the students visited the shrines “Ko’hna Xovos,” “Xasti buzurgon,” “Bibi ocha,” and “Yusufbobo,” the “Local History” museum, the “Mourning Mother” complex, and the modern bridge in Zomin.
