Today, a meeting was held at the National University of Uzbekistan with the participation of the leadership of the Military Institute of Information and Communication Technologies and Communications of the Ministry of Defense on the selection of candidates for the 2025/2026 academic year.

At the event, the Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation of the National University of Uzbekistan, Yakub Ergashov, delivered an introductory speech and discussed the prospects for expanding cooperation between universities in educational, innovative, and research activities.

The Head of the Institute, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Bakhtiyorjon Rakhimov, met with students of the National University of Uzbekistan.

The students were told about the large-scale reforms being carried out in the military education system, the procedure for admitting candidates to higher military educational institutions, test exams, and issues of training military personnel.

Within the framework of the meeting, held in the form of a dialogue, students received detailed answers to their questions from the responsible persons.

For information, the first military institute in Uzbekistan is a state higher military educational institution of the Ministry of Defense, which carries out two-year training of officers of the tactical level in several areas.
