Vitebsk State University named after. P.M. Masherova

On February 8, 2024, a delegation led by Valentina Vasilievna, rector of Vitebsk State University named after P. M. Masherov of Belarus, visited the National University of Uzbekistan.

They were welcomed by the Rector of the National University of Uzbekistan Madjidov Inomjon, Vice-Rector for International Relations Shirinov Raima and Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs and Innovation Yakubjon Ergashovlar.

During the meeting, the parties agreed to conduct experiments on the results of scientific research in the laboratories of Vitebsk State University, to organize summer schools for students, to compete with this university in the educational market in the fields of IT-medicine and applied arts. They also exchanged views on opening a joint educational program. The two heads of scientific research and cooperation in Uzbekistan-Belarus joint scientific projects expressed their views and opinions.

At the end of the meeting, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the National University of Uzbekistan and the Vitebsk State University named after P. M. Masherov. The parties agreed to develop a road map and appoint coordinators to resolve these issues.
