🔴 On June 18, a delegation from the China University of Geosciences, Beijing (CUGB), led by Vice-Rector Mr. Dameng Liu, visited the National University of Uzbekistan.

At the beginning of the meeting, both sides exchanged detailed information about the activities and directions of their respective universities.

It is worth noting that the China University of Geosciences is ranked among the Top 150 universities worldwide in the field of Geology according to the QS World University Rankings by Subject.

🔴 During the negotiations, Vice-Rector Mr. Dameng Liu expressed his intention to establish cooperation with the National University of Uzbekistan and proposed signing a partnership agreement.

🔴 Within the framework of this collaboration, discussions were held on launching educational and scientific cooperation between faculty members, as well as implementing academic mobility programs for both students and teachers.

🔴 Both parties expressed interest in establishing a joint Uzbekistan-China international educational and scientific laboratory in the field of “Engineering Geology and New Energy Resources”. They emphasized that the creation of this laboratory would enable the implementation of joint scientific projects, participation in international grant programs, organization of field practice for students, and preparation of joint educational and scientific publications.

🔴 At the end of the meeting, it was agreed to develop a roadmap based on the discussed topics and to hold an online meeting to outline the necessary steps for implementing the cooperation.
