On March 19 of this year, at the initiative of the Department of Psychology of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the National University of Uzbekistan, within the framework of the IV Republican Scientific and Practical Conference “Psychology and Society: Science and Practice” dedicated to the memory of Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor Goziyev Ergash Goziyevich, a round table discussion was held on the topic “Goziyev Ergash Goziyevich’s Contribution to the Development of Psychology in Uzbekistan”.

At this event, the Head of the Department of Psychology of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the National University of Uzbekistan, Professor Dilbar Mukhamedova expressed her opinion on the scientific activities of the teacher. Also present were Samekin Adil, Associate Professor of the M.S. Narikbayev Kazakh State Law University, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Psychology, researcher Gerasimova Madina, students Qanot Adelya, Niyazova Amina. The conference was attended by scientists in the field, basic doctoral students, practitioners and students. The participants of the event discussed the importance of Professor Ergash Goziyev in the development of psychology in Uzbekistan, his scientific achievements and impact on practice.

The round table discussion discussed contemporary problems in psychology, including issues of mental health and social relations. The conference became a platform for exchanging experiences and establishing cooperation between specialists.

The conference ended with a fruitful exchange of views and plans for the future, which demonstrates the importance of ongoing dialogue in the field of psychology. Foreign guests and participants who actively participated were awarded university certificates.
