National Girls’ Pedagogical University of Kazakhstan

The National University of Uzbekistan has long-standing collaborations with many universities in Kazakhstan, having signed official memorandums. Kazakh National Women's Pedagogical University is also among these institutions.

Associate Professor and Candidate of Sociological Sciences A.A. Kaleva from the Sociology and Social Work Department of the Kazakh National Women's Pedagogical University visited the National University of Uzbekistan.
In the meeting, attended by R.X. Shirinova, Vice-Rector for International Relations, and K. Inakov, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, the focus was on exploring the implementation of an academic mobility program. This initiative is poised to enhance the international cooperation between the National University of Uzbekistan and the Kazakh National Women's Pedagogical University, fostering a dynamic exchange of academic resources and knowledge. Topics such as internships for teachers and graduate students, adopting international scientific and educational experiences, and expanding professional knowledge and practical skills were discussed.

It is worth mentioning that this visit serves as an initial step in establishing strong international relations between the two universities.


On November 28, 2023, the Vice-Rector for International Relations of the University, Raima Shirinova, the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Komiljon Inakov, and the Head of the Department of Sociology, Elyor Zaitov, conducted an online meeting with the Kazakhstan National Women's Teacher Training University.

During the meeting, representatives of both universities discussed in detail the implementation of an academic mobility program within the framework of international cooperation with the Kazakhstan National Women's Teacher Training University, and addressed issues related to internships for teachers and master's students.

Additionally, during the negotiations, proposals were reviewed for conducting international conferences on achieving gender equality in the context of sustainable development goals and for collaborating on scientific publications. Coordinators for the partner sides were appointed.


To enhance the position of the National University of Uzbekistan in national and international rankings, the Faculty of Social Sciences, Department of Sociology, based on a memorandum of understanding with the Kazakhstan National Women's Teacher Training University, welcomed four second-year master's students specializing in Sociology (7M03101) - Mirzaxan Nazerke Nurjan qizi, Nurlanqizi Aynur, Tursinxoja Gulnaz Abilay qizi, and Muxtar Nargizalar. They arrived on March 11th this year to undergo an internship and are participating in classes according to the plan.
