Today, on November 24, the Rector of the National University of Uzbekistan, Inom Madjidov, received the delegation of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University led by its Rector, Tilet Bolat.

The meeting was also attended by the NUUz Vice-Rector for International Relations Raima Shirinova, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovations Yoqub Ergashev, as well as deans of the relevant faculties.

During the discussions, the parties addressed the development of cooperation between the two universities, including the launch of joint double-degree programs and the implementation of research projects in the fields of social sciences, chemistry, physics, and mathematics. Opportunities for expanding academic mobility for faculty members, students, master’s students, and doctoral candidates were also considered.

At the end of the meeting, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the National University of Uzbekistan and Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University.
