Rector of the National University of Uzbekistan Inom Madjidov received the Regional Director for Central Asia of the international rating agency QS Sergey Khristolyubov. The guest congratulated the university team on the latest results in the QS Subject ranking. An open and constructive discussion was held on the achievements and existing shortcomings. Khristolyubov familiarized the university leadership and representatives of the relevant department with the process of preparation for the next stage of the rating and gave a number of useful recommendations for increasing competitiveness in international rankings.

He emphasized the high level of initiatives undertaken by the university community. Every year, more than 30,000 universities apply to participate in the QS ranking. The achievements of the National University of Uzbekistan at this level are a great success. “The university stands out on the international stage with its potential and collective efforts,” says Khristolyubov.

At the end of the meeting, a representative of the QS rating agency solemnly presented a commemorative statuette to Rector Inom Madjidov on the occasion of the National University of Uzbekistan’s 781st-790th places in the QS World University Rankings. It was noted that this achievement is the result of the university’s activity in the international arena in recent years, initiatives to improve the quality of education and sustainable development.

Furthermore, necessary measures were identified to further improve the rating results based on future cooperation plans, new directions, and best practices.
