Inom Madjidov, Rector of the National University of Uzbekistan, met with students of the university who secured 3rd place in the team competition at the Intellectual Olympiad held among higher education institution students and received a Presidential prize of 1 billion soums, as well as the team of the university’s “Zakovat” club.

The rector began by congratulating the students on their successful participation and emphasized that this result had brought joy to the university community.

He also recognized our student Umida Omonova, the world champion among juniors in rapid and blitz chess, who won the individual competition within the Intellectual Olympiad and contributed to our university’s leading position in this field.

After that, the head of the university talked with the students, listened to their opinions and suggestions. He instructed the relevant officials to create all the necessary opportunities and conditions for the team to achieve an absolute victory in the upcoming games, to provide them with the necessary material and technical equipment, encyclopedic literature.
