Today, representatives of the Tashkent branch of St. Petersburg State University visited the National University of Uzbekistan and held a meeting with students.
The Deputy Director for Academic Affairs of this university, Artem Rubtsev, spoke and provided detailed information about the bachelor’s and master’s degree programs, the educational process, admission conditions, and the opportunities created for students.
During the open dialogue, the students received answers to their questions. In particular, an exchange of views took place on admission requirements, specific aspects of educational programs, practical training, and academic mobility.
Representatives of the branch answered all questions in detail and spoke about the work being carried out to improve the quality of education at the university, expand international cooperation, and create favorable conditions for students.
St. Petersburg State University is the first university in the Russian Federation, founded by Peter I in 1724.
The university is among the TOP-300 most prestigious universities in the world. Today, more than 29 thousand students study here, of which 20 percent are foreign students.
Among the university’s graduates are 9 Nobel laureates, 2 Fields laureates, world-renowned scientists, 2 heads of state, and 6 government members.
In 2021, at the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, a branch of Saint Petersburg State University was opened in Tashkent.
