Seminars were organized at the Faculties of Economics and Journalism and Uzbek Philology of the National University of Uzbekistan to explain the essence and significance of the Regulation “On the Procedure for Granting and Redistributing Grants to Students in Higher Educational Institutions” for 1st-year students of the 2024/2025 academic year.

It was attended by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Shukhrat Toshmatov, senior staff of the Registrar’s Office, faculty deans, deputy deans and tutors, as well as students.

During the seminars, the Vice-Rector explained the procedure and basic rules for granting and redistributing grants to students with examples. Detailed explanations were also given on the content of full and incomplete educational grants, additional state grants and grants from higher educational institutions, the activities of commissions, the procedure and deadlines for student registration.

The Head of the Registrar’s Office, Jasur Karimov, informed students about the procedure and deadlines for making payments for re-learning and organizing re-learning.

At the organized seminars, students received answers to their questions on the procedure for awarding and redistributing grants, as well as other issues related to the educational process.
