Labor activity

I was born on March 20, 1947 in the Amudarya district of Karakalpakstan. In 1970, after graduating from the Physics Faculty of Saratov State University (Russia), I was assigned to the Physical-Technical Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan. There, in 1981, I defended my thesis for the degree of Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences in the specialty 01.04.10 – semiconductor physics. In 1982-2003, I was a leading engineer and head of the laboratory at the Special Design and Technology Bureau of the Mikond plant in Tashkent. Until 2016, I was a leading researcher and project manager at the Institute of Power Engineering and Automation of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan. As a result of these works, in 2014, at the Scientific Council of the Institute of Nuclear Physics of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, I defended my dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences in the specialty 01.04.07 – condensed state physics. From 2018 to the present, I have been working as an acting professor and associate professor at the Department of Photonics of the Physics Faculty of the National University of Uzbekistan. I give lectures and conduct practical classes on the subjects “Methodology of Scientific Research” (Master’s program, 1st semester) and “Fundamentals of Nanophysics” (Bachelor’s program, 6th semester).

As a result of my scientific activity, more than 200 scientific articles and lectures, 7 monographs have been published, I have received 8 copyright certificates and patents for my inventions. 

At the end of 2025, one of my students defended his dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the specialty 01.04.07 – condensed state physics.

In 2021-2024, I led 2 international scientific projects, and in 2019-2020, I was a leading researcher in 1 international scientific project.
