She began her career in 1999 in the Department of General Physics of the Faculty of Physics. Over the years, she worked as a lecturer, senior laboratory assistant, assistant, lecturer, and associate professor. From 2002 to 2008, she studied at the Physics Department of the National University of Uzbekistan, earning a bachelor’s degree in Physics and a master’s degree in Radiophysics.
In 2017, she completed her doctoral studies, and in 2018, she successfully defended her dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Sciences. She is currently conducting research on the topic of “Creating a Media Education System Integrated with the Physics Course in the Bachelor’s Degree” (DSc), specializing in 13.00.02 – Theory and Methodology of Education and Training (Physics).
Under Sh.M. Sodikova’s supervision, six diploma theses and two master’s theses have been successfully defended. Currently, two independent researchers (PhD candidates) are conducting research under her supervision in the specialty “13.00.02 – Theory and Methodology of Education and Training” (Physics).
As a result of her scientific work, she has published more than 150 scientific articles, 1 monograph, 2 textbooks, 6 teaching aids and 2 teaching aids, as well as scientific articles in journals included in the Scopus database.
