Khamzaeva Janat Temirbekovna was born on May 27, 1984, in Tashkent District of Tashkent Region, into a family of intellectuals. In 1991, she entered the 1st grade of Secondary School No. 3 in Tashkent District and graduated from the 11th grade of the same school in 2001. In 2002, having successfully passed the entrance examinations, she was admitted to the 1st year of the Hydrometeorology program at the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek. In 2006, she completed this program and was admitted to the Master’s program. From 2005 to 2007, she worked as a Geography teacher at Secondary School No. 5 in Tashkent District; from 2007 to 2014, she worked as a Geography teacher at Secondary School No. 5 in Zangiota District. In 2014–2016, she served as a Lecturer at the Department of Land Hydrology of the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek; in 2016–2018, she was a Lecturer at the Department of Hydrology and Hydrogeology; in 2018–2020, she was a Lecturer at the Department of Land Hydrology; in 2020, she became a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Land Hydrology; in 2021, she was a Doctoral Candidate (basic doctoral studies) at the Department of Land Hydrology; in 2022–2023, she was a Doctoral Candidate at the Department of Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring; since January 22, 2024, she has been a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring; since November 1, 2024, to the present, she has been a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Land Hydrology and Meteorology. She is a co-author of one monograph and one atlas. More than 40 scientific articles have been published in national and international scientific journals (3 of them indexed in Scopus). She has supervised about 20 graduate qualification projects.
