Khodiyev Shukhrat Ilkhamovich
Shukhrat Ilkhamovich Khodiyev, PhD in Engineering , is an associate professor in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Computer Analysis. He was born into a family of civil servants on August 22, 1955, in the village of Shafirkan in the Bukhara region. After graduating from high school in 1972, he entered the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics at Tashkent State University (now the National University of Uzbekistan ).
In 1977 he graduated from the same faculty with a degree in Applied Mathematics and a specialization in Mathematical Support of Computers. From 1977 to 1982 he worked as an engineer, intern-researcher, and head of the laboratory at the Applied Mathematics Department of the Tashkent Automobile and Highway Institute. From 1982 to 1984 he was a graduate student at the Novosibirsk State University. From 1985 to 2001 he worked as a senior engineer, junior researcher, and leading engineer in the programming systems department at the Computing Center and the Institute of Informatics Systems of the Siberian Branch, now the Russian Academy of Sciences. From January 2003 to the present, he has been working at the Informatics and Applied Programming Department, now the Applied Mathematics and Computer Analysis Department, of the National University of Uzbekistan in the positions of assistant, senior lecturer , and associate professor. In 2018–2019, he worked as an associate professor at the Department of Fundamentals of Informatics at the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al- Khwarizmi .
During his work at the department, he conducted training sessions: Lectures, training courses , practical classes, seminars , and laboratories in various academic disciplines. For example , the fundamentals of computer science and information technology, the theory of algorithms, programming technology and engineering, programming languages, databases , and others. Actively participates in research and development work to train highly qualified personnel. Read lectures at advanced training courses in NUU and Tashkent University of Information Technology . He has presented papers at numerous international and national conferences.
In 2010, he defended his PhD thesis on “Loop optimization and removal of unimportant calculations in optimizing translators” in the specialty of mathematical and software support for computers, complexes, and computer networks.
Khodiyev Sh.. is actively involved in scientific work. In total, he has published more than 140 scientific and methodological works, including three textbooks, several methodological works, articles, and theses. He also has certificates of implementation for software packages for electronic computers.
Sh. I. Khodiyev is an experienced educator and leading specialist in software development. He has participated in numerous research grants and is a regular participant in targeted research projects. Sh. I. Khodiyev participates in many university and faculty social events. He supervises the final research projects of undergraduate and graduate students. His research interests include: and informatics and information technology, technologies for creating programs, theories of translation, analysis and semantic transformations of programs, optimizing transformations of programs.
