Work Experience

Anvar Kholmatovich Yunusov graduated from the Physics Department of Tashkent State University (now the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek) in 1970. He has held a PhD in physical and mathematical sciences (Candidate of Sciences degree) since 1981. Total work experience: 55 years.

• 1965–1970: Tashkent State University, Physics Department — student.
• 1970–1988: Tashkent State University, Physics Department — senior engineer, graduate student, assistant, associate professor.
• 1988–1991: Tashkent State University — Deputy Secretary of the University Party Organization.
• 1991–1993: Tashkent State University, Physics Department — Associate Professor.
• 1993–1999: Tashkent State University — Vice-Rector, First Vice-Rector.
• 1999–2001: Academic Lyceum named after S. Kh. Sirojiddinov at Tashkent State University — Director.
• 2001–2008: Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Center for Secondary Specialized Vocational Education — Deputy Director and Head of the Academic Lyceums Department.

Anvar Kholmatovich Yunusov teaches students using modern teaching methods, advanced pedagogical and information-innovative technologies, slide presentations, and multimedia educational resources.

He regularly updates model and working programs for the subjects he teaches and provides methodological support for the educational process.

A.Kh. Yunusov actively participates in the department’s scientific and methodological work. Over the course of his career, he has published a total of 62 scientific and methodological works, including 45 research articles, 5 textbooks, 12 methodological articles, and methodological manuals.

As a member of the Public Council under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, A.Kh. Yunusov contributes to improving the quality of education at universities across the country, developing national rankings and situational analyses, preparing recommendations, and conducting webinars.
