Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Tajikistan to Uzbekistan Abdujabbar Rahmonzoda and Second Secretary of the Embassy Zebuniso Sharifzoda paid a visit to the National University of Uzbekistan.

On January 12 of this year, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Tajikistan to Uzbekistan Abdujabbar Rahmonzoda and the second secretary of the embassy Zebuniso Sharifzoda visited the National University of Uzbekistan.

The delegation was received by the rector of the National University of Uzbekistan Madjidov Inom Urishevich.

At the beginning of the meeting, the relations of brotherhood and friendship between the Uzbek and Tajik peoples were discussed. Also, in 2024, cooperation between the universities of Tajikistan in the field of education and science, cooperation with the Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan were considered.

In addition, a number of proposals for future cooperation of the students of the two countries within the framework of the People's Euro Forum, the organization of international Olympiads, and the protection councils under UzMU were discussed. At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to implement these issues step by step.
