University of Terengganu

The delegation of the Malaysian University of Trengganu is at the National University of Uzbekistan.

Currently, the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek is working in cooperation with many Malaysian universities, and memorandums have been signed. An example of this is the memorandum signed with the Malaysian University of Trengganu in 2021.

The delegation led by Vice Chancellor of the University of Trengganu, Malaysia, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazlan bin Abd Ghaffar visited to the National University of Uzbekistan on December 19, 2023.

The meeting was welcomed by the staff of the National University of Uzbekistan headed by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Shukhrat Tashmatov and Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs and Innovation Yakub Ergashov. In order to further expand cooperation with the Malaysian University of Trengganu, proposals were made to conduct research using the scientific laboratories of the two universities, to study ways to eliminate the problem of the Aral Sea in the field of soil science at the meeting.

At the same time, in order to increase the position of the two universities in international rankings, proposals ware made to publish scientific articles in cooperation, organize summer schools for students, and further expand the academic mobility of professor-teachers and students.

At the end of the meeting, coordinators for cooperation in the above-mentioned areas were determined and it was agreed to hold a zoom meeting.


Meeting with Representatives of the University of Terengganu, Malaysia.

On September 20, 2022, a delegation led by Professor Mohd Zamiri Bin Ibrahim, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the University of Terengganu, Malaysia, visited the National University of Uzbekistan.

The meeting discussed the activities being carried out within the framework of the existing memorandum of understanding with this university.
