Today at the National University of Uzbekistan, in cooperation with UzLiDeP, a round table on the topic “Teachers and Mentors – the Foundation of Development, Builders of the Future” was organized on the occasion of October 1 – Teachers’ and Mentors’ Day.

The event was attended by the Rector of the National University of Uzbekistan, Inom Madjidov, the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Political Council of UzLiDeP, the head of the UzLiDeP faction in the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, Aktam Khaitov, as well as a group of scientists and professors.

The head of the party faction, A. Khaitov, congratulated the participants of the event on the holiday and spoke about the results of the reforms being carried out in the field of education in our country, the attention and care of the head of our state for teachers and mentors, and the invaluable contribution of teachers to the upbringing of the younger generation.

At the event, deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, Chairman of the Tashkent City Council of UzLiDeP Ravshan Fazilov, member of the UzLiDeP faction, Professor Erkin Zakhidov, spoke about the party’s initiatives in the field of education.

Also, Professor of the Faculty of Biology and Ecology of the National University of Uzbekistan, Academician Bakriddin Zaripov, Chairman of the Women’s Advisory Council of the University Rano Rustamova shared their views on the role of mentors in training a new generation, the use of innovative approaches and digital technologies in the educational process.

At the end of the event, a deep gratitude was expressed to the teachers and mentors, and they were presented with holiday gifts.
