On July 11-12 of this year, a round table of rectors of Higher Educational Institutions of Poland-Uzbekistan is held in Warsaw. It is attended by more than 50 rectors, vice-rectors of OMS from two countries.

The vice-rector for educational work of the National University of Uzbekistan Shuhrat Toshmatov also attends this international event.
On July 11, official events were organized at the Warsaw Higher School of Economics. The heads of higher education institutions of the two countries gave their lectures and presentations at plenary and working sessions.

The round table exchanged views on a number of issues related to the establishment of internship programs of professors, the publication of articles in cooperation in journals belonging to international scientific bases such as Scopus and Web of Sciense, the expansion of cooperation in areas such as the activation of academic mobility of students.

In particular, the vice-rector for Academic Affairs Sh.Toshmatov expressed his proposals on the surface of prospects for cooperation between higher education institutions of Uzbekistan and Poland.

Official events continued on July 12 at the prestigious “AGH University of Krakow”, located in the city of Kraków.
