Discussion of prospective plans at the Virtual meeting

On April 26, 2021, a virtual meeting was held between Sintszian Institute of Ecology and Geography of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the National University of Uzbekistan. The meeting was attended by the general director of the Institute professor Zhang Yuanming, staff of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and rector of the National University of Uzbekistan Inom Madjidov, vice rectors and specialists of the Faculty of Biology.

It is known that by the decree of the Scientific Council of the National University of Uzbekistan dated June 19, 2020 № 10, Uzbekistan-China joint scientific research laboratory "Ecobioms of arid lands" was established at the Faculty of Biology of the National University of Uzbekistan between the National University of Uzbekistan and the Sintszian Institute of Ecology and Geography of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Over the past time, the staff of the Joint Scientific Research Laboratory led by the doctor of biological sciences, professor Dilfuza Egamberdieva from 2021, the project Uzb-Ind- 2021 – 93 was launched to carry out a joint scientific and practical project of Uzbekistan-India named "bio inoculate based on new bio char and rhizobacteria for the production of healthy food from stressful Agro-ecosystems".

At the Virtual meeting, Mr. Zhang Yuanming said that in 2021, modern laboratory equipment will be provided to the Uzbek-Chinese joint research laboratory "Ecobioms of arid lands". The sides also exchanged views on the issues of joint scientific projects, organization of scientific internships, exchange of students and teachers, bilateral scientific guidance.
