TRADITIONAL INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE “GIS in CENTRAL ASIA” – GISCA 2021

On February 17, 2021, the National University of Uzbekistan and the University of Salzburg held a video conference, where the issue of joint holding of the traditional International Conference GAT GISCA-2021 was considered.
During the video conference, the specialist of the Information Center for Scientific Research of the Geography of Central Asia, Joseph Strobl, raised issues aimed at the fruitful development of geoinformatics. They also discussed the issues of doctoral studies in geoinformatics.
The international conference of the National University of Uzbekistan and the University of Salzburg of Austria will be held on May 30 - June 3, 2021 within the framework of the Erasmus+DSinGIS project. The issue of publishing manuscripts in the form of a collection of scientific articles and indexing them in the leading Scopus databases was also discussed.
