Today, on May 15, a delegation from the Nanjing University of Science and Technology (NJUST) of the People’s Republic of China, led by Rector Fu Menyin, visited the National University of Uzbekistan.
The guests were ceremoniously welcomed by Raima Shirinova, Vice-Rector for International Relations, along with the deans and department heads of the Faculty of Chemistry, Faculty of Physics, and the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Intelligent Technologies.
During the meeting, Chen Danhe, Deputy Director for International Relations at NJUST, gave a presentation on the university’s joint projects and its experience in international collaboration.
From the National University of Uzbekistan, Sherzod Boltayev, Head of the Department of Information Security at the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Intelligent Technologies, also delivered a presentation on the university’s activities, research areas, and development prospects.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed the following areas of cooperation:
- exchange of information and experience between universities,
- joint participation in international rankings,
- ensuring academic mobility of students.
In addition, the implementation of joint scientific research projects was also discussed.
At the end of the meeting, the Rector of NJUST presented scientific publications authored by himself and books written by the university’s professors and instructors.
A memorandum of mutual cooperation was signed between the National University of Uzbekistan and Nanjing University of Science and Technology.
