On the initiative of the National University of Uzbekistan, an international student and youth tourism festival was organized at a high level in the Khovos district of Syrdarya region under the slogan “Khovos – Crossroads of Cultures”. The festival brought together young people from different regions in one place and served to strengthen intercultural dialogue, friendship and cooperation. The rich historical heritage and tourism potential of Khovos were widely promoted during the event.

As part of the festival, participants traveled to the “Old Khovos” hill and got acquainted with the historical and natural resources of the region. The programs organized in the “Youth and Ethnotourism” direction, reflecting national values, customs and traditions, strengthened the sense of identity and respect for cultural heritage among young people.

The artistic part of the event was also rich in content. Through the stage performance “Roots”, the harmony of man and nature, ancient lifestyle and labor traditions were artistically presented. Also, songs dedicated to the Motherland, national dances and performances reflecting traditions left a great impression on the audience.

During the festival, meaningful seminars and poetry performances were also organized for students and young people, which served to expand the knowledge and worldview of young people. This festival became not only a cultural recreation, but also a place for exchanging experiences, and played an important role in educating young people in the spirit of patriotism and preserving national values.
