The Department of Pedagogical Education of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the National University of Uzbekistan successfully held an international scientific and practical conference on the topic “The image of a 21st century teacher: historical heritage, international experience, problems and solutions”.

The event was attended by professors and teachers of leading higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan and a number of foreign countries, representatives of research institutes, young scientists. The conference widely discussed the role of a modern teacher, his professional image, digital literacy, innovations in education and other topical issues.

The opinions, scientific presentations and exchange of experiences expressed by the participants of the event indicated that the conference was productive and meaningful.

The conference featured scientific discussions in sections on topics such as the content and development trends of the pedagogical image, the psychological aspects of its formation, the image of a higher education institution in a digitalized environment, issues of pedagogical skills from the perspectives of Eastern scholars and modern enlighteners, the possibilities of using innovative technologies in education, and the prospects for the development of continuing education in New Uzbekistan.
