Today, November 21, the prestigious international rating organization Times Higher Education (THE) in cooperation with the “Schmidt Science Fellows” Foundation for the first time announced the results of the Interdisciplinary Science Ranking.
The National University of Uzbekistan ranked 251-300 in this ranking. Three higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan (NUUz, TSTU – 251-300, TUIT – 401-500) took places in the ranking.
NUUz took first place among the universities of Central Asia.
THE organization’s largest debut, the Interdisciplinary Science Rankings, was established to promote large-scale cooperation between higher education institutions and support global research initiatives, with 749 universities from 92 countries participating.
For information, this rating assesses the activities of universities in three areas:
– publications dedicated to interdisciplinary research (quality and reputation of research);
– stimulation of research (success indicators, infrastructure, administrative support and encouragement);
– financing of scientific research.
