A meeting with writers was held at NUUz within the framework of the project “Ma’rifat ulashib”

On November 26, a meeting was organized at the National University of Uzbekistan with the participation of writers and poets within the framework of the project “Ma’rifat ulashib”.

Members of the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan, Director of the Scientific Research Institute of Cultural Studies and Intangible Cultural Heritage Botirjon Ergashev, members of the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan, laureates of the Order “For a Healthy Generation of the II Degree” Mukhiddin Omonov and Mamura Zokhidova visited the National University of Uzbekistan and met with students.

The first vice-rector, Jabbor Muhammadiyev, opened the meeting with an introductory speech, which was organized with the aim of raising the culture of reading, increasing interest and enthusiasm for reading in society, among young people, forming cultural intelligence, and developing the level of artistic literacy.

The invited guests spoke about the role and advantages of reading in expanding the spiritual world of a person, the importance of literature in the development of the worldview of young people, and enjoyed samples of creativity.

After that, an intensive dialogue was held with the guest artists and students. Participants received answers to their questions, suggestions, and reactions.

The creators were introduced to the park of the National University of Uzbekistan. They visited the Botanical Garden of the Faculty of Biology of the National University of Uzbekistan as part of the “Yashil makon” and got acquainted with the work carried out by the students.

Members of the Writers’ Union, guest creators met with students and held a round table at the student dormitory of the National University of Uzbekistan.

During the conversation, about attracting to reading, increasing artistic literacy, the creators called on the students to be spiritually awake.
