Today, the Rector of the National University of Uzbekistan, Inom Madjidov, visited rental apartments of students residing in the “Universitet” and “Mirzo Golib” neighborhoods of Olmazor district and conversed with the young people.
Specifically, he visited the “PROSPECT HOSTEL” accommodation on Forobiy Street, where more than 70 students from the Faculty of Chemistry are renting rooms, and inspected the living conditions.
Additionally, the rector checked on students from the Faculty of History and the Faculty of Taekwondo and Sports Activities who are living in rented apartments in the “Universitet” and “Mirzo Golib” neighborhoods.
During the visit, led by the Rector of the University I.Madjidov, the First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual and Educational Work Jabbor Mukhammadiev, the Deans of the Faculty Shakhnoza Kodirova, Alisher Muminov and Vladimir Rakhimov, as well as officials of the youth affairs system gave the necessary instructions to the students on ensuring fire safety, the correct use of gas equipment and heating devices.
A conversation was held with the owner of the apartment, the living conditions of the students were studied, and explanatory work was carried out on the meaningful organization of their free time and the prevention of emergencies.
The Rector talked with the students, listened to their interests, problems, suggestions, and comments. He also presented them with a collection of popular science and artistic-didactic books. The head of the university gave relevant instructions to those responsible for improving living conditions.
