On the occasion of the 34th anniversary of the establishment of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Day of Defenders of the Fatherland, a solemn event was organized at the National University of Uzbekistan under the slogan “The National Army – the Shield of the Motherland, the Guardian of Our Peace!”

The event began with a military parade held on Beruniy Square on the campus, which was attended by the leadership of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations, the Center for Increasing Social Activity of Students and Pupils, the National University of Uzbekistan and the Military Training Center under the university, relevant officials and military personnel.

Opening the event with an introductory speech, the rector of the National University of Uzbekistan Inom Madjidov sincerely congratulated the military personnel serving to ensure the peace and security of our country on the holiday.

An exhibition of military weapons and equipment was organized by the Military Training Center at the National University of Uzbekistan on the main square.

Before the military performances and the concert program, the speakers warmly congratulated those gathered on the 33rd anniversary of the formation of the Armed Forces and the Day of Defenders of the Fatherland.

During the event, military performances were performed by servicemen of the Academy of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan, cadets of the Military Training Center and the University of Public Safety.
