The National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek collaborates with many European universities and has signed official memorandums of understanding with them, including the Lodz University of Technology in Poland. The memorandum between these two universities was signed in 2017, and collaborative efforts have been ongoing to the present day.

Specifically, on September 5, 2023, a meeting was held with Professor Tomasz Maneski from the Lodz University of Technology and Associate Professor Aleksander Sztuka from the same university.

The meeting was attended by Raima Shirinova, the Vice-Rector for International Relations at the National University of Uzbekistan, Gulasal Rofiyeva, Head of the Strategic Development and International Ratings Department, Shakhnoza Qodirova, Dean of the Faculty of Chemistry, and faculty professors.

During the meeting, comprehensive information about the university was provided to the representatives of the Lodz University of Technology. Associate Professor Aleksander Sztuka from the Lodz University presented a presentation about his university to the staff of the National University of Uzbekistan. Additionally, representatives from both sides exchanged ideas about organizing international student conferences in both online and offline formats to enhance mutual cooperation.

Furthermore, the parties discussed organizing internships for master's students of the Faculty of Chemistry at the Lodz University of Technology. Professor Tomasz Maneski from the Lodz University of Technology expressed his support for this proposal.
