Today, January 6, Vice-Rector for International Relations Raima Shirinova and department staff visited the Faculty of Geology in order to demonstrate the faculties’ contribution to the university’s participation in international rankings and further increase their activity.

Prior to the visit, explanatory work was carried out on a number of issues related to access to scientific rankings, and explanations were given on important indicators for raising places in the world rankings even higher.

“For information : Geology has shown an increase in the number of articles each year and has great potential to enter the scientific rankings.”

As a result of the meeting it was decided to make a work plan for each direction and to control them. It was also noted that all professors and teachers will be involved in active participation in increasing the international rating of the university.
