Open Day at NUUz Dedicated to Anti-Corruption Efforts

Today, on December 4, the National University of Uzbekistan held an Open Day event organized within the framework of the “Anti-Corruption Month” and dedicated to the “9 December — International Anti-Corruption Day.”

The event was opened by the First Vice-Rector of the university, Jabbor Muhammadiyev, who spoke about the ongoing efforts to ensure transparency and prevent corruption within the institution.

Following this, Shohnazar G‘ulomov, Head of the NUUz Anti-Corruption “KN” Department, delivered a detailed report on the measures taken in response to corruption cases identified during the previous academic year, as well as on the preventive and educational work carried out by the department.

During the event, Rektor’s Advisor Jahongir Jabborov presented a lecture on the legal foundations of anti-corruption efforts. Senior Inspector of the university, Lieutenant Colonel Alisher Abdulkhakov, and Chairwoman of the UzNU Women’s Issues Advisory Council, Ra’no Rustamova, also shared their views.

At the end of the event, the winners of various competitions dedicated to the International Anti-Corruption Day (9 December) were awarded. Among them were the winners of “Best Essay,” “Best Poster,” and “Best Article” contests on the theme “Youth Say No to Corruption,” as well as the “Best Video Clip” contest on the theme “Corruption-Free Educational Institution” and the intellectual competition “Anti-Corruption Expert.”
