
Today, May 15, a presentation of the Uzbek translation of the textbook “Economic and Financial Strategy” was held at the National University of Uzbekistan.
The textbook “Economic and Financial Strategy” by Professor of Moscow State University, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Foreign Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, world-renowned strategist Vladimir Lvovich Kvint has been translated into Uzbek by scientists of the National University of Uzbekistan and the Navoi State Mining and Technological University.
The textbook was written by a team of authors led by Professor Kvint Vladimir Lvovich, among the authors are such statesmen as former Governor of the Kostroma Igor Albin, Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Sergey Tsivilev.
The textbook covers the philosophical foundations of strategy theory, the methodology for developing and implementing strategy, regional and sectoral strategization, the financial basis of strategy, strategic leadership, and strategic management.
The presentation was attended by the First Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shokhrukh Daliev, Rector of the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek Inom Madjidov, textbook authors, representatives of the Navoi State Mining and Technological University, professors and teachers of higher educational institutions of Tashkent, and high school students of schools where “Young Strategy” clubs have been organized.





Rector Inom Madjidov, opening the event with an introductory speech, emphasized that in recent years, political and economic disagreements have intensified among the countries of the world, and in such conditions, each state needs to develop development strategies taking into account the prospects of several decades, and for this, training specialists with high strategic thinking has become one of the most important tasks.
The Department of “State and Corporate Strategies” has been established at the National University of Uzbekistan in cooperation with Moscow State University, where master’s students are studying in this specialty. This textbook, translated into Uzbek and published, will serve as a useful resource for professors, teachers, and students.


Speaking at the event, the First Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, Shokhrukh Daliev, spoke about the importance of this book and drew attention to the fact that it will serve as an important practical guide not only for teaching students in the higher education system, but also for specialists working in ministries and local government bodies.
The guests of the event, Professor of Moscow State University, Doctor of Economic Sciences Irina Novikova, and Candidate of Economic Sciences Galina Zadorozhnaya, also expressed their opinions.


Doctors of Economic Sciences, Professors Avazbek Sadykov, Abdurakhim Vakhabov, Shukhrat Yuldashev, and other well-known economists noted the importance of the book in developing the country’s socio-economic development strategies and training qualified personnel in this area.
