Today, July 10, a meeting and job fair aimed at ensuring the employment of graduates was organized at the Tashkent State University of Economics in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the Tashkent city administration, the Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Youth Affairs Agency, the “Kelajakka qadam” center of JSC “Uzmilliybank” and more than 50 private entrepreneurs.

The meeting was attended by heads of higher educational institutions of the capital, more than 2 thousand graduating students, representatives of large entrepreneurs and industry enterprises and organizations. At the meeting, representatives of the sphere and responsible officials held an open dialogue with students, where issues of career guidance and employment were discussed. The event was also attended by the Rector of the National University of Uzbekistan, Professor Inom Madjidov.

Within the framework of the event, a motivational seminar-training “Business Marathon” was organized for graduating students with the participation of well-known successful entrepreneurs, as well as a job fair, where real job offers were presented to graduates. Graduating students of the National University of Uzbekistan also took part in the fair.

Also, within the framework of the “Step to the Future” project of JSC “Uzmilliybank,” assistance was provided to young people in starting a business, financial and legal consultations. Practical recommendations and relevant information on employment opportunities were provided.

At the meeting, a sincere and open dialogue was held with major entrepreneurs of the capital, rectors of higher educational institutions, and graduating youth. Graduates received answers to their questions.

Today’s youth are tomorrow’s leaders. Supporting them, creating opportunities and guiding them is the greatest investment in the development of society.
