Five talented students from the Faculty of Foreign Philology, Department of German Philology, have been awarded scholarships for summer study courses provided by Germany’s prestigious academic exchange organization — DAAD, and last week they began their studies in Germany.

One of the scholarship recipients, Boltaboyeva Shahzoda, is attending a course in the city of Jena, while Jarqinova Shodiya is studying in Weimar in a program aimed at in-depth learning of the German language, culture, and history. During the course, the students are actively participating not only in language classes but also in cultural events and excursions.
