Today, on August 21, sports competitions were held at the National University of Uzbekistan as part of the “Topical 90 Days” project. The event aimed to promote a healthy lifestyle among university students and local youth, increase physical activity, and encourage wider participation in sports.
The competitions took place at the university’s sports complex and included the following sports: mini football, basketball, volleyball, chess, and checkers. Around 200 students and nearly 30 young residents from nearby communities took part in the event.
In the mini football tournament, youth teams from the Oltintepa, Ko‘ksaroy, and Beshterak neighborhoods competed against each other, showcasing their sporting skills.
Winners and top performers in each sport were awarded special commemorative gifts by the university administration.
These competitions played an important role in fostering healthy competition, enhancing social engagement, and strengthening teamwork skills among the youth.
