A Meeting Dedicated to the Discussion of Key Issues Was Held

Today, an important meeting was held at the National University of Uzbekistan with the participation of the university’s senior leadership, sectoral vice-rectors, faculty deans, heads of relevant departments, and other responsible officials.

The agenda focused on pressing issues related to education, academic and methodological activities, spiritual and educational affairs, international cooperation, scientific research, and financial matters.

Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Shukhrat Toshmatov opened the meeting by identifying existing challenges in the educational process and proposed effective measures to address them. He also issued specific instructions regarding the efficient organization of academic processes, faculty performance, employment of graduates, and matters related to international students.

First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Work Jabbor Muhammadiyev shared his views on providing students with dormitory and rental housing, enhancing the promotion of internal regulations and ethical standards of the university among students, and organizing meaningful leisure activities.

Vice-Rector for Financial and Economic Affairs Vali Yodgorov discussed the importance of strengthening the university’s financial stability and ensuring efficient use of resources.

Vice-Rector for Scientific Research and Innovation Yoqub Ergashov presented proposals to expand opportunities for doctoral students and researchers, ensure continuous monitoring of their activities, and further enhance the university’s scientific capacity. Vice-Rector for International Relations Raima Shirinova also shared recent developments and future plans in her field.

Vice-Rector for Methodological Support and Quality Assurance of Education Ravshan Musurmonov spoke about methodological issues and outlined plans for the development of domestic tourism and the use of tourism facilities affiliated with the university in the upcoming academic year.

At the conclusion of the meeting, specific tasks and necessary measures were determined for the prompt and effective resolution of the discussed issues.
