On October 11 – International Women’s Day, a spiritual and educational conference was held at the National University of Uzbekistan under the motto “With girls towards progress.”

The conference was attended by Dilbar Gulyamova, Advisor to the Chairperson of the Committee for Family and Women of the Republic of Uzbekistan; Lalihon Abdukadirova, Associate Professor of Tashkent State Medical University, Candidate of Medical Sciences; Zulfiya Muminova, Honored Worker of Culture of Uzbekistan, Poet; and Rano Rustamova, Chairperson of the Advisory Council on Women’s Issues of the National University of Uzbekistan, who shared their experiences.

During the event, issues of supporting girls’ education, professional development, and active participation in public life were discussed.

Issues of protecting women’s rights, strengthening their place in public life, and creating equal opportunities were discussed at the meeting with the participation of women, specialists, and youth active in various fields.
