A republican scientific and practical conference “Mental Health in the Global World: Problems and Solutions” was hel

The Department of Psychology of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek held a republican scientific and practical conference on the topic “Mental Health in the Global World: Problems and Solutions.” The conference was organized by the Tashkent branch of M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University and the Scientific and Practical Society of Psychologists of Uzbekistan.

Within the framework of the conference, a hybrid round table was held on the topic “Ensuring Mental Health: the Role of Psychological Science and Practice.” It discussed the role of psychology in the study of human behavior, emotions, and thinking, as well as its influence on the development of such areas as education, economics, medicine, sports, and entrepreneurship.

The moderator of the “round table” was the Head of the Department of Psychology of the National University of Uzbekistan, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor Dilbar Mukhamedova. The event was attended by Vice-Rector for International Relations Raima Khakimova, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences Komiljon Inakov, Chairman of the Board of the Scientific and Practical Society of Psychologists of Uzbekistan Nuriddin Safayev, Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Rector of Profi University Gayrat Shoumarov, as well as national and foreign professors and students.

The event was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Komiljon Inakov. Then a short film dedicated to World Mental Health Day was shown.

During the conference, presentations were heard on topical issues in the field of psychology – the influence of fiction on mental health, the role of simulation practice in maintaining the mental stability of young teachers in the professional environment, Z-generation values, and mental health
