On October 22, 2025, at the initiative of the Department of Social Work of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the National University of Uzbekistan, a republican scientific and practical conference was held on the topic “Concept for the Development of the Scientific School of Ganieva Marifat Khabibovna.”

The event was organized by the National Agency for Social Protection under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Center for Strengthening Communities and Developing Social Well-being, the Center for the Study of Public Opinion, the Association of Disabled People of Uzbekistan, and the Yuksalish Movement.

The main goal of the conference is to deeply study the theoretical and practical aspects of the scientific school formed under the leadership of Professor Marifat Ganieva, analyze its contribution to the development of social work, and determine future prospects.

Within the framework of the conference, such important issues as the prospects for the development of social policy in our country, mechanisms of social protection of the population, ensuring public health, adaptation of persons with disabilities to socio-cultural life, the use of information technologies in the field of social protection, and improving the system of social support for youth were discussed and comprehensively analyzed.

At the end of the event, practical recommendations for the development of the scientific school were developed, and the need to introduce new approaches in the training of specialists in the social sphere was emphasized.
