A delegation from Pakistan’s Bahria University visited the National University of Uzbekistan. The delegation included the rector of Bahria University, Asif Khaliq, the dean of the Department of Humanities, Adam Saud, and the head of the international department, Muhammad Avais Mehmood.

The meeting was attended by the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the National University of Uzbekistan, Shukhrat Toshmatov, and the Head of the Department for Working with Foreign Students, Ulugbek Okhundadaev.

During the meeting, issues of further strengthening cooperation between the two universities, launching academic mobility programs, establishing exchange of professors, teachers, and students, conducting joint research, developing joint educational programs, and organizing internships were discussed.

Following the meeting, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the two universities. The parties noted that this document will serve to bring relations between higher educational institutions of the two countries to a new level.
